Welcome to the Alchxmy Journal

A field journal capturing my process of exploring how I perceive myself, the world, and my relationship to it.

Rather than coming with finalized answers and complete frameworks ready to hand you, I come to share what’s currently shifting in my perception. It’s a place where what I’m reading, observing, and living gets brought into contact with each other to see what emerges.

The pieces are written as complete as the data I have gathered allows. I return to earlier ideas and update my positions as new data arrives. If you’re here for finished thinking, this probably isn’t your journal, but if you’re here to think alongside someone who’s genuinely in it — stick around.

The Alchxmy Journal surveys art, science, culture, philosophy, world religion, and mysticism to map the intricacies of the human experience and how we can use that map to build better structures in our world.

The philosophical premise, as it stands right now: we have inherent greatness as much as we have inherent flaws and the environmental conditions — from the physical structures, to our beliefs and emotions — grant or restrict access a healthier equilibrium between those poles. First in ourselves. Then in the world around us.

That premise will change as evidence comes in.

Some of my best thinking gets pulled out by other people’s questions. If anything here sparks curiosity, drop it in the comments — you might pull out an answer I couldn’t have written on my own.

On Subscription

It is my belief that knowledge is meant to be shared. So, my essays are shared freely, and will always be. The subscriptions are there as a way for you to support the work, and the world that I am stewarding, but are never a requirement to access the material.
